Orbit Station turns every new tab into a launcher for your whole workflow. Group the sites you use together into tab stacks and open them all in one click, find anything with a keyboard-first command palette, and see your links as planets in your own galaxy. WHAT'S NEW IN 1.7.2 A complete redesign: a violet deep-space look with glass cards, clearer text, and every action visible at a glance. • Galaxy home: each category is a textured planet on an orbit ring around a spiral galaxy. Planets are drawn on your device. • Stack launch card: preview a stack's tabs, open one, or launch them all. • Command palette shows suggested actions as soon as it opens. • Reading board: To Read, In Progress and Completed columns for links you want to get to. • List view is now a table, with a shortcut column for stacks that have a hotkey, and a keyboard shortcut sheet opens with ?. • Easier to read in dark and light themes, with full keyboard support. ONE CLICK, WHOLE WORKFLOW A tab stack opens every tab you need at once: your morning routine, a research session, meeting prep. Launch it from the new tab, or give it a shortcut (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+1–9) and launch it from any tab once the shortcut is set in Chrome. Session Capture (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+0) saves the current window as a stack, and Save for later (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+L) parks a single page in your read-later list. KEYBOARD-FIRST COMMAND PALETTE Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to search your links, launch stacks, jump to a workspace, capture a session, save a tab for later, or ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Google AI Mode (Gemini). Asking opens that site in a new tab with your question filled in; Orbit has no server of its own in between. FOUR VIEWS Galaxy, Grid, List and Board. Press G, D, L or B to switch. EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE Notes, to-dos with due dates and repeating tasks, a calendar, a focus timer with optional ambient sound and optional weather in the Tools sidebar (Cmd/Ctrl+.), plus a read-later list in the left sidebar. Choose an accent color, and dark or light theme. START WITH YOUR SITES ALREADY THERE Onboarding can import your open tabs and bookmarks. You can import more at any time, and recently closed tabs are one click away in the sidebar. LOCAL-FIRST Your links, workspaces, notes and to-dos are stored in your browser. Free needs no account. Icons for your saved links are loaded from DuckDuckGo's public icon service, which receives only each site's domain; open tabs, recently closed tabs and bookmarks that are only listed show a generic icon and send nothing. Weather, the daily photo and anonymous usage analytics are off until you turn them on. Orbit Station Pro adds optional cloud sync across your devices: once you sign in with Google and turn it on, your links, notes, to-dos, boards, calendar and settings are stored in your account.
