DeutschlandGPT for Chrome puts your AI assistant in the browser side panel — right next to the page you're working on. Ask about what's on screen, and let it handle browser tasks for you, with your approval every step of the way. Open the side panel on any page and chat in plain language. The assistant can read the current tab to answer questions and summarize, and — when you allow it — click, type, scroll, and navigate to get things done on your behalf. What you can do • Summarize and explain the page you're on, or pull out the key points. • Ask questions about the current site without copy-pasting anything — including pages behind a login, which a link alone could never show. • Delegate multi-step tasks — "find the pricing page and tell me the team plan," "fill in this form with these details," "open the docs and search for X." • Work across several tabs in one session. • Use voice input to talk to the assistant instead of typing. You stay in control • Three approval modes, chosen in the panel: "Approve manually" asks before every browser action. "Approve automatically" (the default) asks before anything that changes the page — clicking, typing, following a link — and lets reading and screenshots through. "Skip all approvals" stops asking; choose it only when you're watching. • Scoped to a tab group you start. Each session lives in a clearly labelled "DeutschlandGPT" tab group. The assistant only reads and acts on tabs inside that group — a normal new tab stays completely private to you. • The panel opens per tab, not everywhere. It appears in the tab you opened it in, not across your whole browser. • Browser-internal pages and DeutschlandGPT's own sign-in pages are always refused, along with a small fixed list of payment and banking domains. • You can cut it off at any time. A single switch in DeutschlandGPT settings stops every chat from reaching your browser, and each connected browser can be revoked individually — the extension stays installed and the panel keeps working. How it works • The whole experience is a side panel, so the page you're working on stays visible and usable. • Sign in with your DeutschlandGPT account to get started. • The assistant sees the active tab as a screenshot and page text, and performs actions visually — just like you would. • Connected more than one browser? The assistant tells you which one it's using and switches when you ask. Browser support Google Chrome 116 and later is supported. Microsoft Edge and other Chromium browsers may work but are not officially supported. Safari and Firefox are not supported. Requires a DeutschlandGPT account.
