CartTelltale Check – Shopify Change Detector

Run a one-click Shopify product-page readiness check and recheck saved storefront elements after updates.

A Shopify theme, app, or content update can quietly break a product page or hide an Add to cart button. CartTelltale Check gives you a clear, read-only product-page result without Shopify Admin access or Developer Tools. It checks the price, product or variant ID, Add to cart, an enabled Buy now button, and the Shopify cart form. A successful first check is saved locally for future rechecks. Free Beta saves up to five product pages and includes user-guided multi-page checks. If you need more, you can request the Premium Beta from inside the extension. How it works: 1. Open your Shopify product page. 2. Select **Check this product page**. 3. Review Success, Needs attention, Fail, or Could not check and the supporting evidence. 4. After a storefront change, recheck any saved page directly or use the guided multi-page check. What it checks: • A product price was found • A product or variant ID is available • Add to cart is present, visible, and usable • An enabled Buy now button remains usable • The product form points to Shopify’s cart endpoint • A saved baseline changed Privacy by design: • Checks start only after you click a check action • Uses temporary access to the active tab • Stores saved pages, baselines, results, and local feedback records in Chrome local storage • Does not require an account or Shopify Admin access • Does not upload store URLs, page content, baselines, check results, screenshots, cookies, orders, or customer information • A Premium Beta request opens a draft email and sends nothing until you choose to send it • Existing Premium license verification sends only the stored license key and a random installation name to Lemon Squeezy • Voluntary feedback sends only answers you submit, the extension version, referral source, and optional reply email Current scope: CartTelltale Check supports up to five saved pages during Free Beta. Checks are user-triggered. Guided multi-page checking is not scheduled cloud monitoring. The extension does not add items, place orders, test payment, monitor checkout, or guarantee that every customer journey is working.
