OmniNotation turns any web page into your annotated canvas — without altering the page itself. Everything lives in Chrome's native Side Panel, and your data stays on your device by default. HIGHLIGHT & ANNOTATE • Four mark styles: highlight, underline, strikethrough and squiggly — apply them from the context menu or the floating toolbar. • Per-annotation color: every mark can have its own color, on top of the global preset. • Dark-mode aware: highlight opacity automatically deepens when your system prefers dark colors. • Sticky notes: drop a note anywhere on the page, no text selection required. • Built to last: selections are anchored by text quote, so marks survive page reloads; dynamic SPA pages detect changes and re-render automatically. NATIVE SIDE PANEL • All annotations of the current page in Chrome's official Side Panel — no UI injected into the page layout. • Two-way navigation: click a highlight to jump to its annotation card, click a card to scroll back to the highlight. • Write in full Markdown with LaTeX math (KaTeX); reply to any comment in nested threads. BOOKMARKS, TAGS & SEARCH • Pages you annotate are bookmarked automatically. • Keep them tidy with nested folders, page-level tags and categories, and per-page visibility (private / public / group). • Global search across all annotations, quotes, replies and tags. SELECTION TOOLBAR Select any text and a compact two-row toolbar appears: annotation tools on one row, search engines on the other. Search your selection across general and academic engines, or add, edit and remove engines yourself — emoji and characters work as icons. MARKDOWN IMPORT / EXPORT Back up and restore everything as readable Markdown files — easy to check, easy to version, easy to move into your note-taking app. OPTIONAL: SHARE WITH AXIOM HUB Sign in to Axiom Hub to share your annotations for a page and to receive others'. Entirely opt-in and off by default: without signing in, nothing ever leaves your browser.
