Connect your Shopify store to ShopChief through browser-based authorization, without manually copying access tokens or entering a Client Secret. ShopChief Shopify Connector is a companion browser extension for ShopChief. It helps complete the authorization flow when you choose the browser authorization option to connect Shopify in ShopChief. KEY FEATURES • Helps connect your Shopify store to ShopChief. • Automatically passes the authorization result back to ShopChief. • Displays success or failure feedback and notifies ShopChief to update the connection status. GET STARTED 1. Install and enable the extension. 2. Return to ShopChief, refresh the page, and open the Shopify connection settings. 3. Choose browser authorization, enter your store’s myshopify.com domain, and click “Connect Shopify”. 4. Follow the prompts to complete authorization on Shopify, then return to ShopChief to check the connection status. REQUIREMENTS A ShopChief account and a Shopify account authorized to connect the target store are required. This extension assists with connection. Subsequent store operations take place in ShopChief. Available features depend on your account and the permissions granted for your store. AUTHORIZATION AND DATA The extension processes the store domain, temporary session information, and one-time authorization code needed to connect your store. It sends the authorization request to ShopChief to complete the connection. The extension itself does not store Shopify access or refresh tokens.
