Mamo Check-in helps Monash Malaysia students collect attendance codes from Gmail, Moodle and Ed course sources they are authorized to access. It reads text and recognizes images locally, then automatically submits codes to matching school attendance sessions. Key features • Interactive onboarding guides you through identity confirmation and course setup. • Automatically reads your Attendance name and verifies school email accounts and sign-in status when required by your configured sources. • Choose Gmail, Moodle, Ed or a combination of sources for each course. • Enter a Moodle course_id or Ed course_id, or paste the corresponding course URL. • Both Mac and Windows support built-in browser OCR, with no separate Tesseract installation required. Mac users can optionally install the Apple Vision companion through the setup guide. • View timetables, collected records, run logs and submission results. • Copy attendance codes and export CSV files or readable HTML semester reports. • Run checks manually or enable optional scheduled checks. Chinese and English interfaces are available. Requirements and usage Requires Chrome 120 or later and macOS 12+ or Windows 10/11 x64. After installation, follow the guide to confirm your identity and configure course sources, then select “Check in now.” You must complete Google and school sign-in, including multi-factor authentication, yourself. Identity verification alone does not start a new check-in run; a run already waiting for sign-in may continue after verification. Scheduled checks require Chrome to remain running and your computer to stay awake. The extension only processes matching sessions within the last seven days that remain open on the school website. Recognized codes, including low-confidence candidates, may be tried automatically. Incomplete details, failed candidates or uncertain submission results are flagged for your attention. Semester reports use saved local records and website sessions previously read by the assistant. Exporting does not search Gmail again. Privacy OCR runs locally, and settings and attendance records are stored locally. The optional Mac companion can also archive original images and related records on your computer. The extension accesses Gmail, course websites and the attendance system according to your configuration. Email and course data are not sent to developer-operated analytics services, advertising services or third-party AI services. See the privacy policy for data handling and deletion details.
