It requests no host permissions, so it cannot read or change the content of any page. It collects nothing about you or what you listen to, and the only thing it stores is whether you prefer the light or dark theme. The permissions it does ask for: tab audio capture, active only while the popup is open; an offscreen document, because Chrome won't process audio in a service worker; the current tab's URL and title, to tell whether the site is supported and to notice when the track changes; and local storage, for your theme choice.
