Guard checks the page you're actually looking at — not a robot's snapshot of it. Most website scanners crawl your site from a server, logged out, with no cookies and no personalization. Guard runs from inside your own Chrome tab, so it sees exactly what your browser sees: HttpOnly cookies document.cookie can never read, the security headers this specific response sent, and the live DOM behind your login. One click checks twelve categories: • Cookies — Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite flags, read the way the browser actually enforces them • Security headers — CSP, HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, clickjacking protection • Mixed content — leftover http:// resources on an https:// page • Accessibility (WCAG) — powered by axe-core, run against the real rendered page, not a static fetch • SEO — title/meta-description length, missing canonical or Open Graph tags, heading structure, structured data • Privacy — tracker detection and whether a consent mechanism is present, missing privacy/cookie policy links • Links — broken or redirected internal links, vague or empty link text, insecure http:// links, missing rel attributes • Images — missing alt text, oversized files, missing width/height, lazy loading, legacy formats • Content quality — readability, thin content, placeholder text, missing footer or copyright notice • Tech stack — what's actually running on the page you're on • Performance & mobile responsiveness — Core Web Vitals, render-blocking resources, touch target and font sizes Every check opens with a Priorities and Quick wins summary — the worst issues first, and the cheap fixes with the biggest impact — so you don't have to click through a dozen tabs to know where to start. Results can be copied as a text summary, exported as JSON or a standalone HTML report, or (signed in) shared as a public link with an embeddable score badge. No account needed to run a check. Sign in with your Infaris account and every result is saved to your Guard dashboard, so a page you check here shows up next to your other Website Analyzer scans, and you can turn any checked site into an ongoing monitor in one click. Guard reads a page's content only when you click "Check this page" - nothing about a site's content or your activity on it is ever collected passively. When you're signed in, the toolbar badge can also look up whether a site you visit already has a Guard check on record (from this extension or from the Website Analyzer in your Guard dashboard) so it can show that check's score without you re-checking - that lookup only ever sends the site's hostname, never a full URL, page content, or anything while you're signed out.
