Overview

Monitor network requests and API failures with real-time insights

RequestScope — Network Monitoring & API Testing Inspect, mock, test, compare, and audit your web application traffic directly in Chrome without external proxy software or DevTools clutter. All captured data is processed locally on your device with zero telemetry. Key Features Live Traffic Monitoring • Capture XHR, Fetch, document, script, media, and WebSocket requests in real time. • View HTTP status codes, timing metrics, formatted JSON/XML payloads, and header details. • Export requests as cURL, Fetch code, or raw HTTP strings. Automated API Regression Detection • Save snapshots for critical endpoints and automatically detect schema changes or payload field differences. • Set latency thresholds to identify performance regressions. • Calibrate baselines automatically using live traffic data. API Mocking & Overrides • Intercept requests using exact URL matches, wildcards, or regex patterns. • Return custom JSON payloads, simulate server errors, or inject artificial latency to test offline and failure states. Request Diffs & Session Auditing • Compare two captured requests side-by-side with synchronized scrolling. • View session-level health summaries, failure distributions, and slowest endpoints. • Export session data in JSON, HTML, or HAR format. Privacy & Control • Maintain strict data privacy with all logs stored locally. • Restrict monitoring to specific domains via a configurable allowlist. Getting Started 1. Open RequestScope and add your target domain (e.g., localhost) in Settings > Allowlist. 2. Browse your application to capture network requests. 3. Select any request to inspect details, configure mock rules, or set regression baselines.
