Theatre Cue Player is show-control software for school and community theatre. It runs in Chrome, works offline, and is built for student operators on Chromebooks. Build a cue list, press GO, and your sound and video fire in order. It provides a unique opportunity for a classroom of students to learn the terminology, logic, and workflow of show-control software that immediately transfers to industry-standard professional applications. After that there will be a fee for second-screen projection output only; audio-only shows stay free and video shows with watermark stay free. **NEW IN 2.3.0 — AUTOMATIC CUE LIST BACKUPS, and more** Theatre Cue Player now saves a copy of your cue list every time you open a show, and keeps the last 20. When the director asks to hear it the way it was yesterday, Show > Restore from Backup puts it back. Restoring saves a copy of what you have now first, so you can always change your mind. • Restore from Backup — return to any of the last 20 versions of your cue list • Save a Restore Point Now — mark a moment by hand before rearranging a lot of cues • Only your cue list is copied, never your sound and video files, so it stays small • Shows open faster, and now tell you what they are doing while they load • A cue that cannot play says so — red when the file is gone, amber when it is still saving to Drive — instead of looking ready and then staying silent • Importing a show, or opening one on a new computer, says "Still loading sound and video" across the top of the cue list, so cues waiting their turn no longer look like missing files • Save a Copy of the Cue List (was Save Cue File As) asks for a name, and in Google Drive mode lets you keep the copy in Drive, right next to the show • Load Cue File, Save a Copy and Import a show open in your shows folder, not in Downloads • Purge Unused Media asks again before deleting a file that has not finished saving to Drive, because that copy is the only one there is • Fixed: saving a copy of the cue list could rename the show's own file the next time the show saved • Fixed: settings kept beside your shows were ignored when you reconnected a saved folder, so things like FADE ALL duration quietly fell back to defaults Privacy policy: https://theatrecueplayer.app/privacy
