Overview
Capture a browser profile's cookies into a ready-to-paste sforge session setup command.
SessionForge is the companion browser extension for sforge, a curl-like command-line HTTP client built for penetration testers and developers who juggle multiple accounts across multiple browser profiles. When testing a complex web application, you often need several browser profiles — each logged in as a different account. Building a working curl command for a specific account normally means manually digging cookies out of DevTools. SessionForge removes that step. HOW IT WORKS 1. Log into the account you want to test, in the browser profile you're already using. 2. Click the SessionForge icon and give this profile's session a name (once, the first time). 3. Click "Copy setup command" — it captures the cookies for the current site's domain and all of its subdomains (including ones you haven't visited in this tab) and copies a ready-to-run command to your clipboard. 4. Paste that command into your terminal. It creates or updates a named session in sforge. 5. Reuse it on any request: sforge --session <name> https://target.example.com/api/... INSTALLING SFORGE sforge is a separate command-line tool, distributed through Rust's package registry, crates.io. With Rust and Cargo installed, run: cargo install sforge Then confirm it's on your PATH: sforge --version Full documentation and source code: https://github.com/mateocallec/sforge WHAT THIS EXTENSION DOES NOT DO SessionForge makes no network requests of its own. It never sends your cookies, session names, or settings anywhere — the generated command is only ever copied to your clipboard, and settings are stored locally to your browser profile only, never synced across devices. Full privacy policy: https://github.com/mateocallec/sforge/blob/main/PRIVACY.md WHO THIS IS FOR Penetration testers, security researchers, and developers who work with multiple authenticated sessions across browser profiles and want a fast, reliable way to turn "logged in here" into a working command-line request.
