TritonPlan
Overview
UCSD course planner for TSS — your whole week on one calendar, with class and final-exam conflict detection.
TritonPlan brings back the course-planning calendar that UCSD's old WebReg had and the new Triton Student System (TSS) is missing. Browse a course in TSS, click the "+ TritonPlan" button on any section, and it drops onto a clean weekly calendar — color-coded, with times, rooms, instructors, and final exams — so you can arrange your schedule and catch conflicts before you book, you can even jump back to TSS and go to the booking page from the planner. GETTING STARTED 1. Install TritonPlan, then open the Schedule of Classes in TSS the way you always do. 2. Click the "+ TritonPlan" button on any section you are considering. 3. The planner opens with that class on your week. Keep browsing; every class you add stacks up there. WHAT YOU CAN DO • See your week. Every lecture, discussion and lab on one calendar grid, with a live "now" line on today. • Catch conflicts. Overlapping classes light up the moment they collide. • Fix them without leaving the planner. Compare a course's LEC / DIS / LAB combinations with live seat counts, and switch to one that fits. • Check your exams early. Finals and midterms in date order plus an exam-week calendar, with their own overlap detection — the clash most people find in week 10. • Find the room. Click any class location to see the building on a campus map, in 2D or 3D. • Know what you already have. Courses you are enrolled in come back marked Booked, and the planner flags a course whose plan sits on a different section than the one you booked. • Watch the seats. Seat counts stay fresh as you browse, and waitlist-only sections are marked as such. • Know when you can enroll. Your First Pass / Second Pass appointment times show as a live capsule in the planner. • Plan more than one quarter. A separate workspace per term, plus as many what-if plans as you want. • Take it with you. Share a plan by link or QR code, open it on your phone, hand it to a friend. • Jump back to TSS. One click from any class returns you to that exact course, or straight to its booking page. HOW IT WORKS When you browse the Schedule of Classes, the TSS server already sends the course data to your browser. TritonPlan simply captures that data as it arrives and draws it on the planner. It never sends a request of its own and never automates TSS — it behaves exactly like normal browsing. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Your plan stays on your device, saved in your browser and in the share links you create. Nothing is collected or uploaded, and the planner site has no backend.
