Practice guitar with the videos you watch on YouTube. GuitarBear adds a compact bar below the video for looping, playback speed, pitch, L/R channel selection and a six-band EQ. Open the extension popup on any website to use the metronome, tuner, tab search and practice guide. • Slow down or speed up videos from 25% to 200%, with one-percentage-point adjustments. • Create an A–B loop. Drag its start and end markers on YouTube’s progress bar or enter exact times. • Build speed gradually: choose a starting speed, target, increment and repeat count. Adjusting speed preserves your selected mode. • Transpose from −12 to +12 semitones while preserving tempo. Fine-tune Pitch from −100 to +100 cents in one-cent steps. See the A4 reference in Hz and reset each setting independently. The same controls work on GuitarBear’s YouTube practice pages. • Choose Stereo, Left or Right with L/R. Hear the selected left or right recording in both ears, then restore the original stereo mix. Useful when guitars are recorded on opposite sides. Both choices sound the same on mono recordings. • Adjust six EQ bands at 80, 250, 750 Hz and 2, 5, 10 kHz from −12 to +12 dB. See each band’s value and use Reset to return to zero. L/R and EQ also work on GuitarBear’s YouTube practice pages. • Practice with a built-in metronome, time signatures, subdivisions, tap tempo and progressive BPM. • Tune your guitar with the built-in chromatic tuner. • Explore GuitarBear tabs by most practiced, most added or newest, and search for a song or artist. • Click the GuitarBear logo below a video to open that video in the website’s practice player. Sign in to include your practice on the website in your account’s normal time tracking. • Use Turkish or English. Turkish browsers start in Turkish; other browser languages start in English. Your choice in the extension popup is remembered. • Turn the YouTube practice bar on or off from the popup. Language and visibility preferences stay on this device. The microphone is used only when you start the tuner and grant permission. Microphone audio, pitch, L/R and EQ processing stay on your device; audio is not recorded or uploaded. Other tools do not require microphone access. No GuitarBear account is required for the extension tools. Signing in is required to record practice time on the website; time spent using the extension on YouTube is not automatically added to your account. GuitarBear’s website access and membership terms apply to content opened there. Not every video has a verified tab match. Speed, loop and pitch controls are unavailable during ads and live streams. L/R and EQ work with the recording’s existing channels and frequencies; they do not separate guitars, vocals or other instruments into stems. New in 0.9.4: fine Pitch adjustment alongside Transpose, an A4 Hz reference and independent resets. The panel stays in place while adjusting; speed, L/R and EQ are preserved.
