Overview
Check broker and rental listings for NYC rent-stabilization signals and set alerts for future matches.
Check for NYC rent-stabilization signals while browsing rental listings. Open a listing on a broker or rental website, then click RentReboot. The extension sends the normalized page URL to RentReboot to look for a matching listing in its stored database. When a match is available, a compact RentReboot card explains the available signal, such as a reference to stabilization in the stored listing or a match to building-level records. You can also create alerts for future listings. IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS • Website compatibility does not guarantee a database match. • Rent-stabilization checks cover New York City. • A building-level match does not establish that a specific apartment is rent-stabilized. • No match does not establish that an apartment is unregulated. HOW IT WORKS The extension checks URLs against RentReboot’s stored data. It does not scrape the listing page’s body or make an additional request to the broker website. After activation, it can also check URL changes within that tab. RentReboot is an independent service. It is not affiliated with the websites you browse.
