LivePin — Pin & Track Live Website Data
Overview
Pin and track changing numbers, prices, scores and stats from websites with persistent browser pins and optional alerts.
LivePin is a website value tracker for Chrome. Select a changing number, price, score, count, percentage, statistic, KPI, or compact status on a webpage and keep it available as a persistent browser pin while you continue browsing. Instead of monitoring an entire page, LivePin focuses on the exact value you choose. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the webpage that contains the value you want to track. 2. Open LivePin and choose Pick. 3. Click the exact value on the page. 4. Name the pin and choose a refresh interval. 5. Keep the value in the Chrome Side Panel or enable a draggable floating pin. TRACK CHANGING WEBSITE DATA LivePin is designed for compact values people repeatedly check by hand: prices, sports scores, order counts, queue sizes, percentages, dashboard totals, inventory counts, KPIs, and status text. Each pin keeps its source, current value, refresh health, and local change history together. PERSISTENT PINS Use the Side Panel as a focused dashboard for all of your pins. Search, group, pause, edit, refresh, and organize tracked values without reopening every source page. Floating can be enabled independently per pin so selected values stay visible over other normal webpages. HISTORY AND OPTIONAL ALERTS LivePin keeps local value history and supports conditions for meaningful changes. Depending on the rule you configure, an alert can use a visual pulse, sound, optional Chrome notification, or optional webhook. LOCAL-FIRST LivePin does not require a LivePin account or LivePin server. Tracker configuration is stored in Chrome extension storage and value history stays in extension IndexedDB by default. Chrome Sync is optional. Webhook delivery is optional and only runs for user-configured alert rules. SITE ACCESS LivePin asks for website access when you choose to track a value on that site. Broader all-sites access is requested only when you enable Floating for a pin, because that selected pin must be rendered over other webpages. Notification permission is requested only for notification alerts. COMPATIBILITY LivePin uses browser-side techniques to refresh a selected value when possible, including live DOM observation and background source reading. Some websites can limit background refresh because of authentication changes, CAPTCHA, content security policy, iframe restrictions, network behavior, or application-specific rendering. LivePin reports source/health status rather than pretending a stale value is live. Use LivePin when the page matters less than one changing value on it: pin the value, keep browsing, and check what changed when you need it.
