X-Follow Tool automates the repetitive part of growing your X presence — finding relevant accounts and following them — while keeping you in charge of the pace and the ceiling. It runs entirely inside your own browser, on pages you are already signed in to. There is no server, no account to create, and nothing is ever uploaded. WHAT IT DOES Point it at any account's followers, following, or verified followers list and it works down the list, checking each profile against your filters before following. Everything happens in a visible tab so you can watch exactly what it does and stop it at any time. LIMITS YOU ACTUALLY CONTROL - Hourly limit — a hard cap on follows per rolling hour - Max follows — a total ceiling for the whole run, enforced across every source in your queue - Randomised delays — set a minimum and maximum gap between actions - Automatic cooldown — detects X's rate-limit responses and pauses for 15 minutes rather than pushing through - Stop means stop — one click halts the run immediately, including any profile tab mid-action SMART FILTERING Skip accounts that are not worth a follow, before spending an action on them: - Follower/following ratio, minimum and maximum - Follower count range - Verified accounts only - Skip accounts you have already muted - 90-day memory, so you never re-process an account you have already handled, followed, or been blocked by MULTI-ACCOUNT QUEUE Give it a list of accounts and it works through all of them in a shuffled order, with your global limits applying across the entire queue rather than resetting for each source. OPTIONAL ENGAGEMENT - Like a randomised number of posts and/or replies when following - Mute on follow, to keep your timeline clean while still following back - Turn off reposts for accounts you follow PRIVACY - No data leaves your browser. There are no analytics, no telemetry, no external servers. - Everything is stored locally using Chrome's own storage. - No account, login, subscription, or API key required. - The extension only has access to x.com and twitter.com. HOW TO USE 1. Open x.com and sign in 2. Navigate to any account's followers or following list 3. Click the toolbar icon to open the side panel 4. Set your delays, limits and filters 5. Press Start The side panel shows a live log of every action and the running totals. You can close the panel without interrupting the run — reopen it and the counters pick up where they left off. WHAT'S NEW IN 1.6.7 - Global "Max Follows" is now enforced in storage, so it holds across queue changes, page reloads and closing the side panel. Previously it could reset mid-run and let a session run past the ceiling you set. - Stop now reaches profile tabs that are mid-action, instead of letting them finish. - Follow records are written more reliably, so the hourly limit counts accurately. - Reopening the side panel mid-run restores the true follow count. - New icon and refreshed side panel artwork. PLEASE USE THIS RESPONSIBLY Automated following is not permitted under X's Terms of Service, and accounts that follow aggressively can be rate-limited, restricted or suspended. The limits, delays and cooldowns in this extension exist to keep your usage conservative, but no setting makes automation risk-free. Start with low limits and long delays, and increase them slowly if at all. You are responsible for how you use your own account.
