Read with fewer distractions, explain selected text, save articles, and revisit useful ideas through practice.

Cognimated helps you turn what you read into clearer thinking: understand a passage, connect useful ideas, and keep the context you need to use them. Open Reading mode to remove page distractions and adjust the text. Choose Listen to hear the article at your pace. Select a passage and ask for a clearer explanation without leaving the page; undo or redo a text change when you need to compare it with the original. Save an article from the page’s right-click menu. Your reading list keeps the article and its source together, with a clean reader and offline HTML or MP3 downloads when available. In the companion app, short practice questions bring ideas back and link to their original sources. Connect the extension to your Cognimated account to sync saved reading and practice. Site controls let you choose where learning capture is allowed, block individual sites, pause capture, and revoke a paired browser. Sensitive categories such as banking, email, health, payments, and authentication are blocked by default; these filters do not replace your judgment about private content. Automatic learning capture uses public URL, title, and engagement evidence after site and engagement checks pass. Explicit reading saves and selected-text assistance can send page text to the service. Text assistance and learning preparation use configured AI providers through OpenRouter. Listening sends text for speech processing; Read aloud can send microphone audio for transcription. These actions require the relevant service connection and may be unavailable when a provider or service is unavailable. AI can make mistakes: compare important explanations with the original source.
