Ask one question. Get five answers. If you pay for more than one AI, you have probably done this: typed a question into ChatGPT, then pasted it into Claude, then into Gemini, to see who gets it right. WhileAI does the pasting. Type your prompt once, in whichever AI you are already in, and the same prompt is sent to the others you switched on. Each answers in its own tab, in your own account. When an answer lands, the toolbar icon shows a green count and the WhileAI panel lists which AI has finished. Click one and you are in that conversation. A soft chime and a desktop notification come with each answer, and one switch turns them off. That is where the name comes from: do something else while the AI works. It also keeps count of your AI time. Every minute in an AI tab is one of three things: writing the prompt, waiting for the answer, or reading it. Nothing is ever deleted to enforce a limit: your history keeps recording, and upgrading shows all of it. HOW IT BEHAVES WhileAI types into the message box and clicks send, one prompt at a time, at the pace a person would. It sends in each AI's standard mode: where a site leaves a slow research or thinking mode switched on (DeepSeek does), WhileAI switches it off before sending. It does not solve CAPTCHAs, work around usage limits, open hidden sessions, or pretend to be a different browser. If an AI is signed out, showing a check, at its limit, or still answering your last prompt, WhileAI does not send to it and tells you that AI did not get the prompt. Nothing is kept to send later. PRIVACY Your prompts and your timings stay in your browser. There is no account and no analytics. WhileAI never stores or sends what the AIs write back; it only watches whether an answer is still arriving, so it can time it.
