Local SOP Exporter

Create editable step-by-step guides from screenshots. Record demo workflows and export locally.

Create clear, editable how-to guides from your browser workflow. Local SOP Exporter helps trainers, web-tool consultants and freelancers document demo workflows. Start recording on a chosen tab, click through a task, then refine the screenshots and instructions into a guide someone else can follow. - Record visible screenshots and click markers only after you explicitly start. - Edit step titles and instructions, reorder steps, import screenshots and permanently cover selected image areas. - Export a standalone HTML guide, Markdown with images in a ZIP, or an editable backup. - Preview and print your guide to PDF using your browser. - Keep screenshots and guide content in this browser. Projects are not automatically uploaded. Free includes one guide with up to 10 steps, editing and exports. Pro is a US$49 one-time purchase through ExtensionPay and Stripe and supports multiple guides with up to 50 steps per guide. No subscription. Image data per guide is limited to 60 MB. Recording is limited to the tab and document where you start. Full page navigation ends recording; start again on the next page to continue the most recently edited guide. Rapid clicks may be skipped. Embedded frames, other applications, restricted browser pages and full-page scrolling capture are not supported. Use demo accounts and synthetic data only. Form fields and embedded frames are covered before capture, but automatic masking does not hide every kind of confidential content. Review all screenshots and use manual redaction before sharing. The extension does not read form values or log keystrokes. Deleting a guide or redacting an image does not update previously exported files or temporary previews. Keep editable backups of important work, as clearing browser storage or removing the extension may erase saved guides.
