Send supported HTTP and HTTPS download links from Chrome to Swifty Download Manager on your Mac. • Open SDM from the toolbar. • Use Download with SDM on a link’s context menu. • Hand common direct-download links to SDM after a user click. • Send matching website cookies, your browser's User-Agent, and the source website's origin to the local app so supported signed-in downloads can work. • Keep browser-to-app handoff encrypted and on your device, with no analytics, ads, or developer-operated download server. Swifty Download Manager 0.5.1 for macOS is required. Enable the extension's website and cookie permissions and keep SDM running for browser-session downloads. SDM uses the session only for your selected download and does not save browser cookies in download history. After restarting SDM, send the download again from the signed-in browser. With the URLSession engine, resuming a paused browser-session download restarts its transfer. Downloads requiring POST request bodies or arbitrary Authorization/custom headers remain unsupported. Hold a modifier key while clicking to preserve Chrome’s normal behavior.
