Miru doesn't fight that with blocklists and willpower — it just asks you to pause for a breath first, then gives you a quieter version of the site to land in. You just get a moment to notice what you're doing before you do it, then choose: go on, or close the tab. 🌙 Calm The breath, plus a stripped-down version of the site itself. On YouTube, everything becomes text — no thumbnails, no recommended videos, no comments, no Shorts — while search and the video you're actually watching still work fine. On Instagram, the feed, Reels, and Explore go quiet, but Stories, DMs, and profiles stay usable. After the breath, a dial asks how long you mean to stay. It opens at zero every time, so the answer is a decision rather than a habit. The last minute turns grayscale, then another breath asks again — and if you come back later the same day, it quietly tells you how long you've already named there.
