Sight reminds you to take a break using the 20-20-20 rule - every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds - and handles the rest automatically. WHY INSTALL SIGHT Most break reminders are either too basic or too bloated. Sight does one thing well: reliable, flexible break reminders that don't get in your way. Install it if you: - Work long hours at a screen and forget to look away - Want reminders that skip your video calls and focus time automatically - Want something that runs quietly in the background, no tab required WHAT IT DOES Reminder system Default is 20 min work / 20 sec break, but everything is customizable - including fractional minutes (e.g. 12.5). Choose any combination of alerts: - Full-page break tab with countdown and instructions - Desktop notification with a custom message - A short synthesized sound (chime, bell, or none - generated locally, works offline) - A toolbar icon flash Stays out of your way - Do Not Disturb hours - silence breaks during set times (e.g. 10pm–7am) - Exception sites - auto-pauses on Zoom, Meet, Teams, or any sites you add - Idle detection - pauses when you step away, resumes where it left off - One-click enable/disable, with optional auto re-enable after N minutes Countdown timer Live MM:SS countdown to your next break, resettable, and usable as a standalone timer.
