AI Blocker — local slop filter
Overview
Blocks AI chatbots, AI mentions, AI-written text, and AI images. 100% on-device — nothing ever leaves your machine.
Take control of how much AI-related and AI-generated content appears while you browse. AI Blocker provides four independently adjustable filters: • Built-in AI features and chat widgets — hides assistant buttons, chatbot launchers, generated answer boxes, and summary panels. • AI-related posts — hides headlines and posts that match a customizable term list. • Likely AI-written text — uses a small on-device model to score visible posts and comments. Choose the sensitivity and whether matching content is collapsed, removed, or labeled. Hidden content can always be revealed. • AI-generated images — blurs images when signals such as platform labels, hosting patterns, or embedded provenance metadata indicate that they were generated. PRIVACY Page analysis happens locally in your browser. The developer does not receive your browsing content, settings, or filtering statistics. Settings are stored using Chrome extension storage and may be synchronized by Chrome when browser sync is enabled. Optional local-model verification is disabled by default and only works with a loopback address configured by the user. LIMITATIONS Text detection is probabilistic and can produce false positives. Image detection works only when an identifiable signal is present. Every filtered item can be revealed, and each filter can be adjusted or disabled.
