SiteKeyMap

Quick per-website key-value notes & snippets — save tokens, API keys, notes. Synced via Chrome storage. By Pankaj Bahuguna.

SiteKeyMap is a lightweight Chrome extension for saving quick key-value notes, snippets, and reference values — automatically scoped to the website you're on. Ever needed to jot down an API key, access token, test credential, or a quick reminder for a specific site — but ended up scattering notes across sticky notes, text files, or random tabs? SiteKeyMap keeps everything organized per website, right inside your browser toolbar. FEATURES • Per-site storage — notes for site-a.com stay separate from site-b.com • Quick add, edit, and delete key-value pairs — rename keys anytime • Built-in search/filter as you type, plus sort any column A-Z or Z-A • One-click copy for both keys and values • Values are masked by default — click the eye icon to reveal, protects against shoulder-surfing • Export everything, just this site's data, or hand-pick specific records to export • Import backups with a smart merge — automatically detects site-only vs. all-sites backups, and lets you choose to overwrite matching keys or only add new ones • Synced automatically across your Chrome browsers via your Google account • No sign-up, no external servers, no tracking USE CASES - Save API keys, tokens, or test credentials while developing - Keep quick notes tied to a specific admin panel or dashboard - Store frequently-used values (IDs, config strings, snippets) per project/site - Personal reference notes you don't want mixed across different websites PRIVACY SiteKeyMap only requests the "storage" and "activeTab" permissions. Your data is stored using Chrome's built-in sync storage tied to your Google account — nothing is sent to any third-party server. This is a lightweight notes/reference tool, not an encrypted password manager — avoid storing highly sensitive production secrets. Built and maintained by Pankaj Bahuguna.
