Overview
Leave comments directly on websites, invite clients or teammates, assign feedback, and collaborate without accounts.
CollabPin lets you leave and manage feedback directly on website elements in Chrome. Select an element, add a comment, discuss changes with project members, assign feedback, and mark it as resolved when the work is complete. Invite clients or teammates to a project without requiring them to create a traditional account or purchase their own license. They can join through an invitation code and collaborate directly on the website. 🆕 What’s New (version 1.1) - Added an in-page Stop Collaboration Mode control, making it easier to return to normal browsing directly from the website. - Improved comment pin highlighting so newly created pins immediately highlight their associated website elements when hovered. ⭐ Key Features: - Contextual Feedback: Select an element on a website and leave feedback directly beside it. - Collaboration Mode: Switch between normal browsing and a dedicated feedback mode without permanently changing the website experience. - Comment Pins: Saved feedback appears as contextual pins attached to the relevant page elements. - Threaded Replies: Discuss feedback directly inside each comment thread. - Feedback Assignment: Project owners can assign feedback to active project members. - Open / Resolved Status: Mark feedback as resolved when the work is complete and reopen it when needed. - Chrome Side Panel: View comments, people, and projects alongside the website without leaving the current tab. - Secure Invitations: Invite clients or teammates to individual projects with private, single-use invitation codes. - No Traditional Accounts Required: Collaborators can join projects without creating a CollabPin username or password. - Project Management: View active and finished collaborations and keep completed project feedback available for reference. - Multi-Project Support: Work across multiple website collaboration projects from the same extension. - Shared Data: Comments, replies, assignments, and project information stay synchronized between project members. Website Feedback in Context CollabPin keeps comments connected to the website elements they refer to. Instead of exchanging screenshots, describing page sections in emails, or moving every discussion into a separate project-management tool, you can select the relevant element and discuss it directly on the page. Comments remain available through CollabPin even if a page element can no longer be matched after the website markup changes. Invite Collaborators Without Accounts Only the project owner needs a paid CollabPin license. Invited clients and teammates can join individual projects without purchasing a license or creating a traditional account. Invitation codes are single-use, expire after 7 days, and can be revoked by the project owner before they are used. One License, Unlimited Collaborations A paid CollabPin license includes: - Unlimited website collaborations - Unlimited invited collaborators - Unlimited comments - All current features The license supports one active owner installation at a time. You can use the same Chrome profile across multiple tabs and browser windows. Support & Feedback For questions, suggestions, or feedback, please contact me.
