Overview
Send the video playing in your tab, links and downloads to the DownGo desktop download manager.
DownGo Integration Module connects Chrome to the DownGo desktop download manager installed on your computer. It does not download anything by itself. It hands over what you choose, and DownGo does the downloading. What you can do Download the video you are watching: when a video is playing, a small download button appears on it. The extension shows only the video that is actually playing in that tab, not every video on the page. Click the button to send it to DownGo. You can turn this panel on or off in the popup. Right-click download: right-click a link, video, audio file or image and choose the DownGo option. Grab All Links (Alt+Shift+G): scan the current page, select the files you want and send them to DownGo. Auto-Capture (Alt+Shift+C), off by default: hand matching browser downloads to DownGo. If DownGo cannot accept a download, the browser continues it normally. Connection status: the popup shows whether the DownGo desktop app is running. Requirements and limits The DownGo desktop app must be installed and running on the same computer. YouTube and DRM-protected videos are not supported. Privacy Everything stays on your computer. Links, filenames, the page address (used as referrer) and cookies for the file you chose are sent only to the DownGo app through a local 127.0.0.1 connection. Nothing is sent to the developer, advertisers or analytics services. The extension does not collect passwords or browsing history. You can limit or revoke site access at any time in Chrome’s extension settings.
