PinWall – Backgrounds for Pinterest
2 ratings
)Overview
Turn every new tab into a wall of images from your Pinterest boards – with clock, focus timer, notes and shortcuts.
Your new tab, wallpapered by the boards you already love. PinWall pulls the images from any public Pinterest board and turns them into the background of every new tab you open. Paste a board link once — from then on your own pins greet you instead of a blank page. WHAT YOU GET • Your boards, live — paste any public Pinterest board URL. Save as many as you like and switch between them whenever the mood changes. • Three layouts — Gallery for a calm, spacious feed. Grid to see everything at once. Fullscreen for one image, edge to edge. • A theme that fits — dark, light, follow your system, or pick your own accent color. Dial background opacity down when you want the page quieter. • A clock, if you want one — toggle it on, choose the size, show or hide seconds, and set it in Montserrat, Space Mono or IBM Plex Sans. • A focus timer — 5, 10 or 20 minutes, right on the new tab. Start it and get back to work without opening another app. • Sticky notes — one draggable rich-text note that stays where you put it. For the thought you need to keep in sight. • Shortcut links — your handful of daily sites, one click away, under the images. HOW IT WORKS Open Pinterest, copy the URL of a board you like, and paste it into PinWall's settings. That's the whole setup. Your boards and preferences stay on your own machine — PinWall only reads the public board feeds you point it at, and ships with a starter board so your first new tab is never empty.
