NoDup

Reuse an existing tab when you open the same link from a webpage or another app.

Same link. Same tab. NoDup reuses a tab you already have open, so you can pick up where you left off. Choose when to reuse tabs: • Links opened from other apps. • Links opened by webpages in new foreground tabs. • URLs entered or pasted into a newly opened tab. Each option can be turned on or off separately. Keep your tabs where you want them Switch to the existing tab, or bring it to the new tab’s window and position. Pinned tabs stay in place. Change your mind Undo a reuse from the toolbar prompt or extension popup. You can also allow the next duplicate, exclude a website, or pause NoDup. See your savings Track how many tabs you’ve reused and your estimated loading time saved. Estimates use each website’s recent load times, with a 3-second fallback until enough samples are available. Stay in control Opening a page’s own URL in another tab is always allowed. Navigation within an existing tab stays unchanged. Eight interface languages are available. Local by design No accounts, analytics, or data sent to a server. Settings and limited hostname-based timing samples stay on your device. A few things to know Link-source detection is approximate, and a new page may start loading before NoDup acts. Undo opens a fresh duplicate; it cannot restore the closed duplicate’s page state.
