I built DoodleTab because I wanted a new tab that felt like mine. Google’s Doodles can be fun, but they don’t always reflect my interests—so I made something customizable and decided to share it. MAKE YOUR NEW TAB YOURS • Custom images: Choose your own doodle and background using direct image URLs, including animated GIFs. • Daily quotes: Start with 30+ included quotes, like “The cake is a lie,” or add your own. • Fonts and colors: Use fonts installed on your computer and adjust quote size and color. • Adjustable doodle size: Make your doodle as subtle or prominent as you like. • Quick Links: Add your favorite sites and open them directly in the current tab. • Optional features: Show or hide quotes and Quick Links. • Local settings: Your preferences stay saved in your browser. LESS DOWNLOADING, MORE DOODLING DoodleTab can save your remote images on your device and reuse them across new tabs—even offline once cached. When you save your options, it asks for permission to access the image sites you’ve chosen. Want a fresh copy? Click Clear Image Cache in Options, then open a new tab. Leave an image field blank and save to restore the included default. FREE AND PERSONAL No ads. No subscriptions. Just a new tab you can make your own.
