FramioCam turns browser screenshots and screen recordings into polished visuals, directly in your browser and on your own computer. Capture a webpage, browser tab, screen, or selected area, then edit the result in the built-in studio. Add window frames, backgrounds, camera overlays, annotations, zoom effects, cursor effects, and export the finished result. SCREENSHOTS Capture the visible page or create a full-page image by automatically scrolling and stitching the page together. You can also capture multiple pages and work with them in the same project. Style your captures with macOS and Windows 11 window frames, gradients, solid colors, custom colors, subtle grain, lighting effects, cropping, positioning, and watermarks. Add arrows, lines, rectangles, circles, text, highlights, numbered steps, magnification, and blur to explain details or hide sensitive information. Finished images can be copied to the clipboard, downloaded individually, or exported together as a ZIP. SCREEN RECORDING Record a browser tab, your screen, or a selected rectangular area, with optional microphone and camera input. The built-in editor provides a timeline for working with multiple clips and tracks. Split, trim, move, and ripple-delete clips, add fades and transitions, import audio, adjust volume, and change playback speed from 0.25x to 4x. FramioCam can automatically zoom toward recorded clicks and recreate the cursor and click indicators in tab recordings. The camera can be moved and resized anywhere in the composition. It can be displayed as a circle, rounded square, or square. Different sections of a project can show both the recording and camera, or either one independently. Export your finished project as MP4, WebM, GIF, or PNG. CAPTURE HISTORY Recent captures remain available so you can reopen them without capturing the page again. You can pin up to 10 screenshots for quick access and disable capture history from the extension settings. LOCAL PROCESSING Your screenshots and recordings are processed and edited on your computer. FramioCam does not upload your media. The extension contacts its licensing service only when checking a licence. Your screenshots and recordings are not included in that request. FramioCam does not use telemetry, third-party advertising cookies, or remote media storage. FREE TO TRY You can take 50 screenshots before activating a free licence key. After activation, screenshots are unlimited. Recording and video editing work before you sign in. Video export requires a free account. Free exports are limited to 1080p and include a small FramioCam mark. A paid licence removes the mark and provides higher-resolution export. PERMISSIONS activeTab, tabs, scripting, and host permissions: used to access the page being captured and create screenshots. tabCapture and offscreen: used for browser capture and video processing without displaying an additional window. downloads: used to save finished images, videos, and ZIP files to your computer. storage and unlimitedStorage: used to store settings, pinned screenshots, capture history, licence information, and recordings that have not yet been exported. notifications and contextMenus: used to notify you when a recording finishes and to provide capture options from the browser's context menu.
