Book Reader gives your EPUB books a clean, distraction-free reader in Chrome — and reads them aloud whenever you'd rather listen than look. Open an EPUB straight from your computer, or click any .epub link on the web to open it in the reader. It's the same reader as the Book Reader website, so your reading position and preferences stay in sync across your devices through your account. What you can do: • Open EPUB files from your own computer, or any plain .epub link. • Listen to your books read aloud — with your browser's built-in voices, or upgrade for lifelike natural AI voices. • Follow along as the sentence being read is highlighted on the page. • Set the font, text size, page color (light, sepia, or dark), and one- or two-column layout to read the way you like. • Move around freely: jump between chapters or drag the progress bar to any point in the book. • Pick up exactly where you left off — your place and settings follow your account to every device. Book Reader only opens EPUB files you already have: files on your own computer, or plain .epub links. It does not remove or bypass any store's copy protection. A free Book Reader account keeps your library, settings, and reading position in sync, and includes a few browser-voice readings each day.
