Inspistor: AI Bookmark Manager – Save, Organize & Ask Your Links

Overview
Save any page in one click, file it in nested folders, then ask Inspi.Ai to find, sort or tidy your links. You approve every change.
Save any page in one click, file it under the project it belongs to, then ask Inspi.Ai to find, sort or tidy your library. Nothing changes until you press Apply. Inspistor is a bookmark manager for people who save far more than they can remember. Instead of dumping links into a flat "Other bookmarks" folder you will never open again, you file the page you are on under the project it belongs to, say out loud why you kept it, and find it later by searching or simply by asking. Ask your library with Inspi.Ai The Ask tab puts Inspi.Ai beside the page you are on. Ask in plain words and it answers from your own saved links, notes and checklists. • Save this page to the right place. "Save this page to the right category." Inspi.Ai looks at where similar links live and drafts the save with the title and folder filled in. Change anything you like, then press Apply. • Check for duplicates. "Have I already saved this?" It checks the address against your library, ignoring tracking parameters, and tells you where your copy is filed. • Find the link you half remember. "The doc on quota limits I saved for the client." It searches titles, notes, tags and archived page text, and groups what it finds by project. • See what is still open. "Which action items are still open?" One checklist across every project, oldest first. Tick, edit or delete items right in the answer. • Get a reading order. "What should I read first that I have not opened yet?" A ranked list, with the reason for each pick: your notes, favourites, and what you have and have not opened. • Tidy up without the risk. "Move the design links out of Uncategorized." Inspi.Ai drafts the changes as a proposal: new folders, moves, renames, action items. Untick the steps you disagree with, press Apply, and Undo puts everything back. Inspi.Ai never changes anything by itself. Every change waits for your Apply, deleting links asks you to type a confirmation, and anything applied can be undone. It works only with your own library: no web browsing, no general chat. Inspi.Ai is included on every plan with a monthly allowance of questions. Why bookmarks stop working A bookmark saves the address of a page. It does not save the reason. Three months later you are staring at forty links with titles like "Dashboard", "Docs" and "Untitled", and it is faster to search again than to work out which one you meant. Inspistor adds the part a bookmark leaves out: the context. Every saved link can carry a spoken note, a description, tags and a place in a folder tree as deep as your work actually goes. And when you cannot remember where something is, you can ask. What the extension does • One-click save. Click the icon and a panel opens beside the page with the title, address and icon already filled in. No copy-paste, no switching tabs, no losing your place. Move and resize the panel to suit your screen, or keep your library open in Chrome's side panel. • Voice notes. Press record and say why the page matters. Your browser transcribes it into the note field, so you get searchable text without typing a word. • Nested folders. Client, then project, then each area of the work, as deep as you need. Three levels on the free plan, unlimited on Pro. Pick the folder from a searchable list right inside the panel. • Tags, with AI suggestions. Add your own tags, or on Pro let Inspistor read the page and suggest them from the words you already use. Tags cut across your folder tree, so one link can belong to a client and to a research topic at the same time. • Your whole library, beside the page. Browse, search, edit and share everything you have saved without opening another tab. Links you open land in a Chrome tab group named after their collection. • Highlight what matters. On Pro, select text on the page before you save and it is stored with the link: the paragraph, the format, the one clause that mattered. What you get in the dashboard The extension and the web dashboard share one account, so a link saved in the browser is already filed when you open the app. Inspi.Ai is there too: switch modes and ask about your whole library. • Instant full-text search. Search every title, note and tag you have saved, from any screen, with Cmd+K or Ctrl+K. • Notes and checklists per collection. Every collection has a note saying what it is for and a checklist of what is left to do. • A saved copy that survives link rot. On Pro, Inspistor keeps a text copy of the pages you save, so when the original moves, goes behind a paywall or disappears, the part you needed is still there, and still searchable. • Import and export. Bring in bookmarks exported from your browser as an HTML file, or a CSV from another bookmark manager, with a preview before anything is written. Export your whole library whenever you want, on every plan. • Shared collections. Invite people into a collection with view or edit access, or publish one as a public resource list for onboarding, client handovers or team research. How it works 1. Find something worth keeping. 2. Click the Inspistor icon. The page details are read for you, or open Ask and say "save this page to the right category". 3. Add a quick voice note about why it matters and file it under its project. 4. Months later, search for it, or just ask Inspi.Ai. Permissions and privacy, plainly • activeTab and scripting: used only when you click the icon, to read the title, address and any text you selected on that one tab, and to show the panel. • storage: keeps you signed in and remembers the panel's size and position. • sidePanel: lets your library stay open in Chrome's side panel. • tabGroups: files the links you open into a group named after their collection. • identity: Google sign-in, if you choose it. The extension talks to Inspistor's own API, to Google while you sign in with Google, and to your browser's speech recognition while you record a voice note. When you use Inspi.Ai or AI tag suggestions, our server sends the question and the parts of your library needed to answer to Google's Gemini API. Your browsing history is not read, collected or sold. Get started Install the extension, create a free account and start with one project. Save the links it depends on, say why each one matters, and the next time you cannot find one, just ask.
