Glyph identifies the font used anywhere on the web. Point at live text for the exact face, or snip lettering out of an image. How it works: - Snip tool (beta): drag a box around any text, including text in images. Glyph names the typeface. - Choose Haiku 4.5, Sonnet 5 (default), Opus 5.5, or Fable 5.1. - Highlight tool: hover and click any element to see its font family, weight, and size. - Text selection: turn this on in Settings to get the same card when you highlight text with your cursor. Features: - History of recent fonts, with a preview, copyable details, and a link back to the page. Save the ones you want to keep. - A link to an official page on Google Fonts, Fontsource, Fontshare, Adobe Fonts, or Font Squirrel when Glyph recognises the family. - A small on-page window you can resize and place in any corner. - Light and dark mode, remembered across sessions. - Shortcuts for both tools, both changeable in Chrome. - A toolbar badge showing which tool is active. - Your API key stays on your device.
