Free provides everyday protection. Pro adds convenient tools for cleaning up and controlling individual websites. FREE — EVERYDAY PROTECTION • Block known advertising, redirect and popunder domains. • Stop unwanted additional windows and monitor suspicious redirect chains. • Pause or block risky downloads according to your settings. • Remove recognized advertising overlays. • Use website exceptions, a local protection log, Help Center and backups. PRO — MAKE DISRUPTIVE WEBSITES EASIER TO USE • “What’s bothering you?” guides you to a suitable website tool: extra windows, player interruptions, distracting popups or a wanted action that did not open. • Comfort mode: preview and hide recognized newsletter/survey popups and supported muted floating autoplay videos for one website. Pause or remove your local profile. Deliberately opened dialogs are preserved where recognized. • Optional cookie rejection: activate it separately to use known visible Reject or Necessary-only controls in supported banners. Unknown banners stay visible. Removing a profile cannot undo a cookie decision already submitted to the website. • Automatic ad cleanup: hide matching embedded banners and ad slots with bundled EasyList and EasyList Germany cosmetic CSS rules. Pause cleanup for one website while keeping popup protection active. • Personal cleanup: select distracting elements by right-click or visual picker; preview, hide temporarily or save for that website. Review and remove saved rules, including in Free. Personal element rules are currently excluded from backups. • Clear player: temporarily hide recognized transparent click traps over visible videos, with Undo. Labeled controls are preserved; embedded iframe players and every ad format are not covered. • Tame website and site rules: apply stricter popup matching and supported player-overlay checks, or control supported windows, navigation and browser permissions for a particular website. • Understand supported blocked actions and download warnings, allow one specific wanted action within a limited retry window, and temporarily tighten protection after repeated detected disruption. • Additional ad/tracking filters and supported player protection. Existing customers should restore their license instead of purchasing again. LOCAL AND CONTROLLABLE Protection settings, events and website profiles stay in your browser. Local protection logs may contain URLs. Optional counters are off by default, contain no URLs or user identifiers and are not transmitted; they cannot measure overall sales conversion. A Free upgrade link appears inside ClickVeto on supported website pages. Additional contextual Pro hints require an actual logged intervention, appear at most once per 24 hours and can be snoozed for seven days. Pro promotions are not inserted into websites. License activation, validation and deactivation communicate with Polar. Filter downloads contact their providers. When enabled, Twitch Stream Shield can send additional requests to Twitch using playback tokens and headers already used by Twitch. See the privacy policy for details and controls. Comfort mode and cookie rejection are off by default. Cosmetic filtering uses a CSS-only subset; hiding content does not block its network requests. Site changes can break rules.
