Spotify's playlist page stops helping once a playlist gets big. Playlist Tools puts search, per-column filters, sorting, real reorder & shuffle, multi-select, bulk actions, cloning, backup & restore, and export right inside the player - built to stay fast on playlists with thousands of tracks. Works on your Liked Songs too. And yes - it brings the classic heart back. No accounts, no tracking _ everything runs locally in your browser. ▬▬▬ What it does ▬▬▬ ▐ Search the whole playlist Find any track instantly, even in playlists with thousands of songs. Click a result to jump to the track - or play it right away. Open with Ctrl+Shift+F or from the playlist action bar. ▐ The heart is back Spotify replaced the heart with a checkmark - Playlist Tools swaps it back. Liked tracks show the classic green heart on playlist rows, and unlike Spotify's hover-only checkmark it stays visible while you scroll, so you see what you've liked at a glance. On by default; one toggle in settings turns it off. ▐ Filter by any column Per-column filters directly in the playlist view - narrow by title, artist, album, release year, play count, date added or duration, with ranges like >1995, >100m plays or <5d. Or show only duplicates, or only your liked tracks, in one click. ▐ Sort your view - or make it stick Sort by any column without touching the playlist: sorting and filters are view-only. Happy with the new order? "Apply current sort to playlist" writes it to the real playlist - after a confirmation. ▐ Shuffle, move & undo Really shuffle the playlist order (not just the queue), or move a selection to the top, the bottom, or right after any track you pick. Every reorder saves the previous order first, so "Restore previous order" is a one-click undo. ▐ Select & bulk add/remove Multi-select tracks with your keyboard or mouse, then add the whole selection to another playlist, move it within this one, or remove it from the playlist in one go (always with a confirmation first). ▐ Clone any playlist Make a full copy of any playlist - including ones you can't edit - as a new playlist you own. Great before reworking a mix, or for making someone else's playlist your own. ▐ Split big playlists into parts Turn one huge playlist into numbered playlists of any size you choose: split 3,000 songs by 100 and you get 30 new lists named "Name (1/30)" through "Name (30/30)", in the original order, with the original playlist left untouched. ▐ Playlist tools, one click away A green button right in the playlist action bar opens Clone, Backup, Restore and Split directly — no need to open the search panel first. The same actions also live in the panel's Actions menu. ▐ Back up & restore Save a playlist's exact tracks and order to a file, then restore it whenever you need to. Recover from a stray shuffle, a collaborator's edits, or an accidental delete: restore in place after a clear preview of what changes, restore into another playlist you own, or rebuild a deleted playlist as a new one.
