Instagram Grid Filter

Adds an All / Posts / Reels filter to Instagram profile grids, so you can browse only photo posts or only reels.

Instagram gives reels their own tab, but there is no way to see only the regular posts — photos and carousels stay buried in a grid full of reels. Grid Filter adds an All / Posts / Reels bar above any profile grid. • Posts — photos and carousels only, reels hidden • Reels — reels only • All — Instagram's untouched grid Filtered tiles do not leave holes: the grid is re-packed so the remaining tiles flow back into full rows at Instagram's own tile size, columns and spacing. Switching back to All removes every change and gives you the original page. Instagram only loads about twelve tiles at a time, so a filter can start out looking sparse. The extension quietly pulls the next batches until the screen is full, and a Load more button fetches more on demand. Each button shows how many posts and reels are currently loaded, and the toolbar badge shows the count for the active filter. Also works on the Tagged and Saved tabs and on hashtag pages. The Reels tab is left alone, since it is already reels-only. Options: default filter, remember your last choice, turn off re-packing (hidden tiles leave blank squares instead), turn off auto-loading, and unpin the bar. No account needed, no data collected, no analytics, no network requests of its own. Your settings are stored in Chrome and nothing else leaves your browser.
