Overview

Explains suspicious website and webmail phishing signals.

Ikari helps you recognize phishing and deceptive websites before you provide credentials, approve a payment, download a file, or take another sensitive action. The extension evaluates the evidence surrounding a page and presents an understandable warning when something appears suspicious. What Ikari checks: - Website URL and domain characteristics - Lookalike domains and misleading brand references - Login, payment, recovery-code, and other sensitive forms - Form destinations and insecure connections - Redirects, embedded frames, QR-code destinations, and risky download links - Sender-domain and message context on supported webmail services - Urgency, impersonation, and other deceptive page content How decisions work: Ikari starts with fast checks performed locally in your browser. It reuses recent decisions when the relevant evidence has not changed. When a page is ambiguous and AI content scanning is enabled, Ikari can ask TypeSafe Jev to reason across the available signals and return an explainable risk assessment. When Ikari identifies meaningful risk, it displays a warning banner with the evidence behind the decision. Ikari warns you but does not claim that every page is safe or automatically prevent you from continuing. Privacy: Ikari does not collect passwords, values typed into forms, or payment-card numbers entered on websites. When AI content scanning is enabled, the extension may send the page URL, page title, structural risk signals, supported sender-domain context, and a limited visible-text excerpt to the Ikari API for assessment by TypeSafe Jev. AI content scanning can be disabled from the extension popup. Ikari does not sell browsing information or use it for targeted advertising. Google Workspace accounts can join a workspace associated with their verified company domain, while consumer Google accounts receive a personal workspace.
