NRK TV Oversetter

Watch NRK TV in Norwegian with the translation one glance away: dual subtitles or a learning panel. On-device, works offline.

Watch NRK TV (tv.nrk.no) in Norwegian, with the translation one glance away. Translation runs on your own computer, using the model built into Chrome. Nothing you watch is sent anywhere. TWO WAYS TO WATCH Dual subtitles: the translation appears under NRK's Norwegian subtitle, right on the video. Works in fullscreen. Learning panel: every Norwegian line so far, in a panel beside the video. The translation stays hidden until you hover a line, and the video pauses while you read. Move away and it plays on. Click a line's time to hear it again. GETTING STARTED 1. Install the extension 2. Open any program on tv.nrk.no 3. The first time, a card on the player asks how you would like the subtitles. Pick Dual subtitles or Learning panel 4. That's it.
