Stop jumping between sheets to check what a formula is pointing at. SheetPeek is a formula tracer for Google Sheets. Click a cell and it shows, right next to it, the actual values behind every cell reference in that formula — with the column header, so you know what you are looking at. WHAT YOU SEE • Every range the formula references, grouped into "other sheets" and "this sheet" • The real values in those ranges, plus the header of that column • Single-cell references shown large, so the number you need is readable at a glance • IMPORTRANGE targets listed, so you know a value comes from another file FORMULAS IT TRACES VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIF, SUMIFS, COUNTIF, COUNTIFS, QUERY, IFERROR wrappers, whole-column ranges (A:A), and cross-sheet references with quoted sheet names — anything written in A1 notation. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-in, no OAuth screen • No server. Values are read inside your own browser session, from the spreadsheet you already have open • Nothing is sent anywhere. No analytics, no data collection • Runs only on docs.google.com/spreadsheets HOW TO USE 1. Open any Google Sheet 2. Click a cell that contains a formula 3. The SheetPeek panel shows what that formula references Drag the panel by its title bar to move it. Double-click the title to reset its position. "–" collapses it, "×" closes it. Bring it back with the toolbar icon or Alt+Shift+P. LIMITS (HONEST LIST) • Reacts to the selected cell, not to mouse hover • Contents of other files (IMPORTRANGE) cannot be read — only the target is listed • Named ranges are not resolved yet • Whole-column ranges show the first 200 rows Available in English and Japanese (follows your browser language).
