Not So Fast

)Overview
Prevent accidental clicks due to elements moving around on the page.
Have you ever gone to click something, only for the page to jump and put a different button or link right under your cursor? You meant to click the first thing, and that’s obvious to everyone except your browser. That’s the problem Not So Fast solves. These unexpected layout shifts happen all the time: an ad loads late, an image pops in, or a cookie banner pushes everything down. Not So Fast detects when the element under your mouse has suddenly changed and starts a split-second “grace period” during which accidental clicks are ignored. That prevents misclicks like pressing the wrong button, losing your place on the page, or opening dangerous links. It also makes using your mouse or trackpad less stressful, especially if precise pointer control is difficult for you. Web developers measure this problem as Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS). Not So Fast protects you on sites that haven’t fixed it. The extension is currently in beta, so feedback is welcome!
