Earnings Tracker for Prolific is a free earnings tracker for Prolific participants. See what you've made today, this week, this month, this year and all time, split into money that's approved and money still awaiting review, with goals, hourly rates, a live study timer, milestone medals and yearly reports for tax time. Right on Prolific's pages: • "Today" and "This week" next to your balance in Prolific's header, with a ring that fills up toward your daily goal • A live clock while you're doing a study: the time you've spent, and the time left before its time limit. The toolbar icon shows it too • On the Studies page, your own history with each researcher: how many of their studies you've done, your hourly rate with them, and any rejections • A row of earnings for every period under the Summary on your Submissions page • One click opens the full earnings panel on top of the page In the earnings panel: • Every period with its goal and pace, a small chart of the periods before it, how it compares with the previous one at the same point, its approval rate, returns and rejections, and what's awaiting review and for how long • Notices worth a look: yesterday's and last week's recap, a goal you're heading to miss, submissions stuck in review, and milestones as you reach them • Earnings charts by day, week, month or year, as bars or lines, with projections: where the current period is heading at your pace so far, and the periods ahead at your recent average • Milestone medals for money earned ($10 to $250,000) and approved submissions (1 to 100,000), in bronze, silver, gold, platinum and diamond, each with the month you reached it and your progress to the next • A calendar of your year, with your best day and longest streak, and the days and hours you earn most • Every researcher you've worked for and every study you've done, with earnings, hourly rate, typical reward and time, bonuses, returns and rejections • What's still awaiting review, longest waiting first, and a search across your whole history, with completion codes you can copy in one click • Yearly reports for any start date, month by month, converted at each month's average exchange rate, with last year beside them, to download for Excel or as a CSV, or print as a PDF • Excel downloads of your submissions, researchers and studies, with real dates and amounts you can sort, filter and add up • Optional desktop notifications for approvals, bonuses, rejections, goals reached, a morning recap, and a warning before a study times out • Keyboard shortcuts, including Alt+Shift+E to open your earnings from any tab Getting started takes one download. A short tour shows what it does, and nothing is kept until you choose Get started. Then, on your Prolific Submissions page, open Submission history and choose Download submissions: Earnings Tracker reads the file as it downloads, so there's nothing to upload. After that it keeps up from Prolific's pages as you use them. When older submissions are reviewed and the totals here fall behind Prolific's, the dashboard and the toolbar popup say by how much, and another download brings everything back in step. How earnings are counted • Approved: rewards of approved submissions, plus bonuses, adjustments and screen-out payments. A bonus that arrives later counts on the day it arrives • Pending: rewards of submissions awaiting review, matching Prolific's own Pending balance. A submission past Prolific's 21-day review window counts as approved, since Prolific approves it itself by then • Studies paid in pounds and dollars are kept apart and combined in your account currency at Prolific's own exchange rate Make it yours • Show totals in pounds, US dollars, euros, Australian dollars or any other currency with a market rate • Use Prolific's own exchange rate, the daily market rate, or your own rate for each currency you're paid in • Start your week on any day, and count submissions from when you started or finished them • Choose what the toolbar icon shows: today, this week, this month, this year, or everything awaiting review • Turn off anything you don't want on Prolific's pages Private by design • Your earnings data stays in your browser • It makes no requests to Prolific at all and never uses your sign-in: it only reads what Prolific's own pages have already loaded, and the history file you download • It never reserves, starts or returns studies, never refreshes Prolific's pages, and never acts on your account • No sign-up, no ads, no tracking, no analytics.
