Overview

Sort any YouTube playlist by duration, date, title or channel — preview, undo, backups, cleanup and watch-time insights.

Sort, clean and organize your YouTube playlists — Watch Later and any playlist you own. New in 2.2: playlist stats, a navigator for long playlists, and a watched threshold you control. See average duration, a length breakdown, and your top categories and channels at a glance; ride a floating button down to the end of a huge queue instead of scrolling batch by batch; and decide for yourself what counts as "watched" before cleanup removes anything. ━━ SORT ANY PLAYLIST ━━ • By duration (shortest or longest first), date added, title, channel, or watch progress (least- or most-watched first) • Channel groups: cluster videos by channel, shortest first within each — with channel-name autocomplete as you type • Shuffle for a random order • Works on Watch Later and every playlist you own — the panel only appears where you can actually edit ━━ FIND ANYTHING ━━ • Search the whole playlist by title or channel — not just the rows YouTube has loaded so far • Results show channel and duration; click one to open it, or reveal its spot in the playlist instead — loads pages until the row is there, then flashes it ━━ GET AROUND FAST ━━ • A floating navigator loads the rest of a long playlist page by page and rides it down to the last video, with a progress ring counting against the playlist's own total — a second click stops it, and so does taking the scroll wheel back • Hover it for two more: jump back to the top, or to the first video you haven't watched • Drag it to one of six anchors or drop it anywhere, independently of sidebar or floating mode; also on Alt+E ━━ TWO WAYS TO USE IT ━━ • Sidebar mode: the toolbar sits on the playlist page, where it always has • Floating mode: the toolbar becomes a button that opens a panel over the page — drag it to one of six anchors or drop it anywhere you like, resize the panel, and pick its colour • Switch between the two from the toolbar itself; a short guided tour walks you through floating mode the first time ━━ SMART & SAFE SORTING ━━ • Hybrid engine picks the fastest strategy automatically: nearly-sorted playlists are reordered in place (preserving "date added", nothing ever removed), heavily shuffled ones use fast batched processing • Preview before sorting: see the proposed order, then fine-tune it by dragging rows or using move-to-top/up/down/bottom buttons • One-click Undo after every sort • Automatic backups before each sort, with a browsable history, import/export, and restore • Live progress with step tracking and estimated time remaining • Optional confirmation prompts and auto-sort on page load • Dry run mode: preview an entire sort — backup, preview, progress, summary — without touching your playlist ━━ ORGANIZE YOUR QUEUE ━━ • Keyword groups: cluster videos matching your keywords (each group with its own sort direction) • Duration filter: push videos outside a min/max length to the end • Watch-progress filter: push videos outside a chosen % watched range to the end • Interludes: insert a break — one video matching your keyword (music, ASMR, stretching…) after every X minutes of watch time • Interlude presets: save a break setup under a name and apply it to any playlist in one click • Create a playlist from a keyword group: turn everything matching a group into a real YouTube playlist, with the name and visibility you choose — and optionally pull those videos out of the source • Cleanup: remove videos you've already watched — set your own threshold with a slider, review the list, and untick anything you want to keep • Optionally remove deleted/private videos, or members-only videos from channels you haven't joined, while sorting ━━ INSIGHTS ━━ • Playlist stats: average and median duration, longest and shortest video, a length breakdown (under 10 minutes, 10–30, 30–60, 1–2 hours, 2 hours+), category and top-channel distribution, and how many channels are in the mix • Watch time per category with grand totals (videos + time), adjustable playback speed and time units • "Time left": how many videos you've watched, the overall percentage, and the viewing time remaining — counting partially-watched videos by their actual resume position • Toolbar badge showing your playlist's video count, the watch time remaining, or that time at your playback speed — in the colour of your choosing • Stats: sorts run, videos sorted and cleaned, your go-to sort type, biggest single sort, days active, longest streak, and the watch time you've reclaimed • Last-activity summary in the settings popup ━━ POLISHED & PRIVATE ━━ • Fast, animated, dark-mode-native UI that honors your reduced-motion preference • English and French, with more translations easy to add • Works on any YouTube display language • Settings sync across every Chrome you're signed into • No data collection: everything stays in your browser. The extension talks only to YouTube's own API, authenticated as you. Open the extension settings for preview, auto-backup, auto-sort, cleanup and confirmation options.
