Vivies Summarizer works with articles, posts, publisher pages, and available page transcripts. 🌟 KEY FEATURES Page Capture: Capture the active page title, URL, and readable content with a keyboard shortcut. Summary Drafts: Build the summary prompt locally, open the selected chat service, and fill its composer. Auto Submit: Optionally submit the generated prompt automatically. Temporary Chat: Use temporary or private chat mode when the selected service supports it. Custom Prompt: Configure your preferred summary prompt from the sidebar. Long Content Support: Choose full content, front-loaded detail, or balanced coverage for oversized pages and transcripts. Settings Sidebar: Manage the chat destination, prompt, general options, theme, and language. 💡 HOW TO USE Install the extension. Open the page you want to summarize. Press the capture shortcut: Command+Shift+X on macOS or Alt+Shift+X by default on other platforms. Confirm the selected AI chat opens. Review, edit, or submit the generated prompt. Use the sidebar to change the chat destination, prompt, language, theme, or delivery settings. 🔒 PRIVACY & SECURITY Vivies Summarizer runs locally in your browser. No data is sent to developer-owned servers. No third-party analytics, advertising, or telemetry is used. Preferences are stored locally using Chrome storage APIs. The extension uses temporary active-tab access only after a user action.
