➤ Sprinkles requires no account, no subscriptions, no ads, and no monetization built into the extension at all. Sprinkles turns the websites you already browse into small moments of language practice. Add the vocabulary you want to learn, and Sprinkles will occasionally replace matching words on webpages with the language you’re studying. You can hover over a replacement to see more information, hear it pronounced, and gradually get more exposure to the words you actually care about. With Sprinkles you have complete control over the vocabulary Import your own CSV or spreadsheet, build decks manually, or use any word list you already have. Sprinkles isn’t limited to a fixed curriculum or a handful of predefined difficulty levels. It is also designed to work with virtually any language. Each vocabulary entry can include a replacement, definition, and optional secondary field, which is especially useful for things like Pinyin, Romaji, alternate scripts, or pronunciation guides. Sprinkles also uses your computer’s native text-to-speech voices, so you can choose from the voices already available on your operating system and adjust playback settings to find one that sounds best for the language you’re learning. It is still built around that idea. You choose what you want to learn. Sprinkles just helps you see and hear it more often while you’re already using the internet. There’s no account to create and nothing to buy. I’m not trying to turn this into another subscription service. It’s simply a project I wanted to exist, so I built it and decided to share it.
