Overview

Pick up where you left off. Every PDF reopens at your last page - zoom and position too. Works for downloaded files as well.

PDF Pickup remembers exactly where you stopped reading — the page, the zoom level, even the scroll position — and takes you straight back the next time you open it. Works everywhere: • PDFs on the web • Downloaded / local PDF files (enable "Allow access to file URLs" in the extension's details) • Renamed or moved files — documents are recognized by content, not filename Full-featured viewer (built on Mozilla's PDF.js, the same engine Firefox uses): • Thumbnails and outline sidebar • Search, zoom, rotate, print, download • One-click two-page (book) view • Presentation mode, text selection, annotations • Light and dark theme, following your system Simple controls: • Click the toolbar icon to turn PDF Pickup on or off anytime — when off, Chrome's default viewer takes over and your saved positions are kept • Remembers your last 500 PDFs • Everything is stored locally on your device — nothing is ever uploaded, tracked, or shared Open a PDF, read, close it. Next time, you're right back where you left off.
