Evirgen — Auto Refresh

Per-tab auto page refresh with presets, custom intervals and a live countdown. Zero background load.

Evirgen reloads any tab automatically — each tab with its own interval, its own countdown, its own on/off switch. Unlike most auto-refresh extensions, it never throws away what you are typing: if you typed on the page in the last 15 seconds, the reload waits. FEATURES - Per-tab timers — every tab is configured independently - One-tap presets — 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 minutes - Custom intervals — from 5 seconds up to 9999 minutes, in seconds or minutes - Live countdown — on the toolbar badge and in the popup - Typing guard — the reload is postponed while you are typing, so a half-written message or search is never lost - Hard reload — bypass the cache for pages that must be genuinely fresh - Active timers list — every refreshing tab in one place, each with its own remaining time; click a title to jump straight to that tab - Stop all — one button ends every timer at once - Keyboard shortcut — Alt+Shift+R toggles the timer on the current tab - English, Turkish and Hungarian interface LIGHT BY DESIGN Evirgen was built around one rule: the browser must never feel it running. - While no timer is running, the extension does not wake up at all — browsing costs you nothing - The background worker sleeps otherwise; it wakes for settings changes and a handful of badge updates per cycle, never once per second - Timers survive background-tab throttling and tab discarding, so a dashboard left in another window still refreshes on time - Each timer lives inside its own tab — close the tab and it is gone PRIVATE BY DEFAULT - No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no telemetry, no ads - Refresh settings live in session storage and disappear when the browser closes; only your language choice and a single "is any timer running" flag are stored locally - Page content is never read.
