Record a visit from its open eCW Progress Note, review the draft, and complete physician-approved entry and Lock.

HUVA Scribe Lite helps clinicians prepare and review visit documentation alongside an open eClinicalWorks Progress Note. Open the intended Progress Note, sign in to HUVA, and start recording. Add notes during the visit, then stop recording to prepare a draft. Review the SOAP fields and ICD-10-CM/CPT suggestions together. Use Write note to enter the reviewed content, check the field results, and confirm Lock separately when ready. Recording and optional phone pairing start while Lite reads an available previous completed Progress Note in the background. The draft reconciles that dated baseline with the full visit recording and supplementary clinician notes. Previous notes remain unchanged. Medication review can display eCW External Rx History and eCW medication safety findings with their source and database edition. External history requires the clinic's eCW access and applicable patient consent. The checker covers medications recorded in eCW; new draft prescriptions and unconfirmed historical medications may be outside its scope. Accepted suggestions change the note only. They do not send, cancel or change prescriptions. Features: - Record in the Chrome side panel and add clinician notes, or optionally connect a phone by QR. - Review and edit SOAP and codes on the paired phone, send Write note to the connected desktop extension, and view its execution checklist. - Review the five standard note fields and coding suggestions in one place. - Inspect the prior note and other reference records used for the draft. - Review sourced eCW medication alerts below the treatment plan and inspect proposed note changes. - Approve the displayed findings and codes together with Approve all & write; excluded codes remain excluded. - Follow a field-by-field entry checklist with verification. - Keep note entry and final Lock as separate clinician actions. Requirements: - A HUVA account, microphone access, and access to a supported eCW environment. - The intended patient's unlocked Progress Note must already be open. - Obtain required recording consent and review every generated clinical statement and code. For optional phone recording, keep the phone page visible and the extension open for EHR entry; calls or screen lock may interrupt capture. Phone QR is not required for desktop recording. Desktop recording can continue when the side panel is closed. Reopen it to stop recording; closing the browser can lose unsent audio. Recording ends at 60 minutes, and pauses when the upload queue becomes too large. HUVA Scribe Lite provides documentation and coding suggestions for clinician review.
