WebLens Page Lens
Overview
Collect and copy bounded render and console evidence from the active tab.
WebLens Page Lens collects a clear, copyable evidence packet from the active browser tab. Use it manually on published or locally hosted HTTP and HTTPS pages to collect bounded rendered-page facts and console errors or warnings. How it works: • Open WebLens and choose **Start capture** • Reproduce the behavior on the page • Reopen WebLens and choose **Stop and inspect** • Review and copy the evidence packet Page Lens reports: • Page URL, title, viewport, document dimensions, link and image counts, canonical URL, and meta description • Broken rendered images, buttons or links with empty visible text, and inputs without simple labels • Up to 20 clipped console errors or warnings observed after capture starts • Capture and inspection timestamps, with an indication when DOM inspection reaches its limit Copy the packet into an issue, support request, or AI assistant for review. The page can influence these observations; they do not establish a security verdict or the cause of a problem. WebLens is free and works without an account or companion helper. Optional diagnostic sharing is off by default. When enabled, a completed inspection attempts to send a filtered diagnostic record to NSC Labs, stored remotely in WebLens-specific infrastructure on Oracle Cloud. Records include inspection status, condition flags, extension version, creation time, and a random per-record ID. They exclude page URLs and titles, console text, source code, and persistent user or installation identifiers. Inspection works with sharing disabled and continues independently of delivery failures. WebLens does not crawl websites, automate page controls, submit forms, upload source code, or send the displayed evidence packet to an AI service.
