Leuchttisch Studio — see every image on a page, zoom into anything, save what you want. One keystroke lays out every image on a web page as a grid, like slides on a light table. You see all of them at once, look properly, and save only what you actually need — instead of clicking through them one by one, or downloading everything and sorting it out afterwards. Everything happens locally on your machine. There is no account, and nothing is collected or sent anywhere. Features in Detail The Light Table – One keystroke collects every image on the page and lays it out as a grid, like slides on a light table. – The extension scrolls through the page once so that lazily loaded images come along — only as far as the page actually goes, and it stops the moment you press the button. – Four filters narrow the selection down: the resolution, the dominant hue, the aspect ratio and the file type. They interlock, so each one only offers what the others left. – Mark a whole resolution class with a single click, or pick images individually and download them in one run. – Images you have already saved can be hidden from the grid in a single click, keeping your focus on what is new. – A single-image view with a filmstrip steps you through the results. – Hold Shift and turn the mouse wheel right over a tile to zoom into it on the spot, without leaving the grid. – Three presets (S, M, L), a slider, or Ctrl plus the mouse wheel set roughly how large you want the tiles; the light table then fits as many full columns of that size as your window allows, so the row always lines up edge to edge. – The colour filter follows the same principle as professional photo editing: every image is analysed for its dominant hue and sorted into one of the eight colour channels a RAW developer works with, from red through the greens all the way to magenta. Shots without a discernible cast are kept apart, among the neutral tones. – If you want only the red shots out of four hundred images, they are one click away. – Each colour shows how many images it will actually give you. Measured, Not Guessed – Resolution, format and file size are read from the file itself — from the first few kilobytes of its header, not from the address and not from how large the page happens to display the image. – That is why the caption under a tile is right even when the address carries no file extension at all, or when the page embeds the very same image at a reduced size. – And when an image server delivers a different format than the address suggests, the caption still names the one that actually arrived. – The readout next to the cursor shows the same values as the tile — both measure the same image the same way. Zoom, Two Ways – Reflow zoom enlarges the entire page and lets the layout reflow, so text stays readable and nothing gets cut off. – Use the mouse wheel or your own presets (default: F for 1.5x, G for 2x, H for 2.5x). – The loupe magnifies only the area under the cursor, round or square, adjustable in size and strength, while the page itself stays untouched. – A single key switches between both modes (default M). – A minimap shows where you are on long pages. Look Closely Before You Decide – Hold Ctrl and move over an image and it appears at full size — without a click, and the extension automatically hunts down the highest-resolution version, including the og:image of the linked target page. – Let go of the key and the window stays put and becomes interactive: rotate, flip, zoom smoothly from 50% up to 800% with the wheel or the +/- keys, and drag to pan around once zoomed. – From there the left and right arrow keys browse the rest of the images on the page; up and down switch between different resolutions of the same picture. – The preview closes when the mouse leaves it, on a turn of the wheel beside it, or with Esc. Which key opens it can be changed in the settings. Saving and Reusing – Save the image under the cursor with one key (default S), or use save-as with your own name and subfolder (A). – Copy it to the clipboard (C), open the original in a new tab (O, or a mouse-wheel click on the tile), or run a reverse image search (R) with the image search services you select in the settings. – Convert to another image format while saving. – Rotate or flip first, and what you see is what gets saved. – Image sites often serve the same shot twice: at full resolution, but re-compressed and visibly weaker. – Leuchttisch Studio looks for the untouched version — what gets saved is the original. – Downloads go into subfolders you name yourself, with optional rename patterns. Video Links, One Click Away – The built-in Video Link Grabber switches on a small badge for every video on the page at a single keystroke (default V). – Click a badge and the direct video address is on your clipboard — nothing opens, nothing downloads on its own. – Paste it wherever you need it: into a download manager, into a terminal, or straight into a media player. – The same key switches it off again; it stays out of the way of the light table and the zoom tools. Multi-Page Galleries – Automatic page turning loads the next page and appends it, so the light table keeps growing across page boundaries. – The grid scan fetches the following pages by itself as well: it works through the current page, has the next one loaded and carries on scanning, until the configured scan depth is reached or the gallery ends. – A divider marks every page boundary, shows the page number, links the original page and jumps to the previous or next boundary (Alt and arrow key). – A compact, freely movable bar at the bottom of the screen turns pages back and forth, jumps between loaded pages and returns to the top. It works independently of automatic page turning — even with the Smart Pager switched off. – The extension finds the next-page link by itself: from the page's own rel attributes, from a weighted assessment of all links and buttons, and failing that from the pattern behind the page addresses. Everything Within Reach – You reach the same functions through the keyboard shortcuts, through the right-click menu and through the toolbar popup. – Every key is reassignable; pressing the question mark (?) brings up a quick on-screen reference. – Switch the extension off for individual sites, or give a site its own profile. – Dark and light theme, following your system by default. Privacy – Nothing is collected and nothing is tracked. There are no ads and there is no account. – All settings stay in your browser. Before reusing anything, whether photo, illustration or graphic, check the licence and terms of the source. Technical Note So that Leuchttisch Studio can create your target folder and open it in your file manager, it places a small text file (leuchttisch_marker.txt) there when needed; only that file's entry in the download history is cleaned up automatically. Your own downloads and files are never touched.
