Overview

Emotes from 7TV, BTTV and FFZ under a hard memory ceiling. Chat search, highlight rules, working audio compressor. No telemetry.

Most Twitch chat suites feel great for ten minutes. Stream Enhancer is built for hour six. In a busy chat, other extensions accumulate emotes and chat lines until typing lags, the player stutters, and you refresh the page to get your browser back. Stream Enhancer enforces a hard ceiling instead. Old lines are removed from the page rather than hidden. The emote index evicts what you haven't seen recently. Every emote reserves its space before it loads, so decoding one never reflows the scrollback. You can watch it work: the health readout shows message rate, buffer occupancy and heap, updated every second. The claim is checkable rather than marketing. WHAT YOU GET • Emotes from 7TV, BetterTTV and FrankerFaceZ together, with overlay emotes stacked properly and duplicate codes resolved by your provider order • Copypasta folded into a single line with a running count, so you can see how hard chat is spamming without reading it forty times • Highlight rules by word or regular expression, each with its own colour and label • Mention radar, so a ping buried during a raid is still there afterwards • Search back through the current session's chat, scoped to a channel, exportable as plain text, wipeable in one click • Hype spikes timestamped when chat outruns its own baseline — a list of moments worth clipping • An audio compressor that survives ad breaks and quality changes, and hands audio straight back if anything goes wrong instead of leaving you in silence • A side panel, so chat tools stay usable next to a fullscreen player PRIVACY There is no server and no account. No analytics, no identifiers, no remote code — everything that runs ships inside the package. Three read-only emote directories are contacted for the channel you are already watching, with credentials omitted. Chat history stays in this browser and deletes itself on your schedule.
